Our Founder

Thrive was founded by Clare Griffiths, FRSA in 2018.

Clare is on a mission to boost the number of female-led small businesses in the world! Her expertise and passion lies in enabling founders to think more creatively, gain clarity and take action with confidence.

Clare's expertise is in entrepreneurship education and innovation for small businesses.

Clare is an award-winning entrepreneurship educator, innovation adviser and social entrepreneur who has over 19 years’ experience offering business support and advice to startups and growing businesses from a range of industries in London and the South East of the UK.

In 2022, Clare was one of 100 female entrepreneurs listed in the f:Entrepreneur #ialso100 campaign, managed by Small Business Britain, to celebrate the achievements of women in business in the UK.

Clare is also a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts, a Fellow of the International Entrepreneurship Educators Programme, and has received a national award for her work by Enterprise Educators UK. 

Clare likes learning new things...

Clare has a Master's degree in Women, Gender and Development, as well as a Master's degree in Applied Professional Research during which she researched the innovation skills and entrepreneurial mindset required for innovating within small and medium-sized enterprises.
